Good news: the 2006 Oktoberfest was a great success!  A large number of people attended each day.  Everyone seemed to have a good time, beginning with the Red Hatter's 2nd Annal Chicken Dance on Thursday and ending with students dancing the night away until midnight on Saturday.  The usual large amount of beer and food were sold as well as 94 cases of Pepsi peoducts.  President Ken Warner wants to thank everyone who helped make both the Strassenfest and the Oktoberfest successes this year.

Of special note members of the Red Hat chapters in Brazil, Cloverdale, Coatsville, Greencastle, Sullivan, Marshall and Paris, IL, as well as Terre Haute jooined in this second annual dance.  It has been reported that plans for the third annual Red Hat Chicken Dance for September 2007 are well under way.

One of our club members found one of the Budweiser Clydedales interesting.  This horse was one of the famed team that Budweiser shows at special events such as our Oktoberfest.  Danke Budweiser!

Important!  The next membership meeting will be Wednesday the 25th of October at 6:30 p.m. (Indiana time).
